Day Thirty Four

I believe cats to be spirits come to earth. A cat, I am sure, could walk on a cloud without coming through.
 Jules Verne

Day Thirty Three

A cat has absolute emotional honesty: human beings, for one reason or another,
may hide their feelings, but a cat does not.
 - Ernest Hemingway

Day Thirty Two

The Cat That Walked by Himself

"He will kill mice, and he will be kind to babies when he is in the house, just as long as they do not pull his tail too hard. But when he has done that, and between times, and when the moon gets up and night comes, he is the Cat that walks by himself, and all places are alike to him. Then he goes out to the Wet Wild Woods or up the Wet Wild Trees or on the Wet Wild Roofs, waving his wild tail and walking by his wild lone."
Rudyard Kipling

Sunday

Day Thirty

If a dog jumps into your lap it is because he is fond of you; but if a cat does the same thing it is because your lap is warmer. - A. N. Whitehead

Monday

DAY TWENTY FOUR

This is Muffin. A handsome male Ragdoll...well, half Ragdoll. He makes a very willing model, and stops to pose within ones' line of sight quite often. He was one of two kittens born in Pearl's first litter. The other?
His name is Tonks and he  lives happily in Arizona, sauntering the homestead and bringing home occasional offerings of bird bits and leapin' lizards.

                                                                  Mr. Tonks
